Off the clock…

I am a single mom, just surviving parenthood, while keeping the dog and cat happy and alive.

I enjoy going camping, walking, going the the beach, and attending local community events.

My self-care includes getting my beauty rest, journaling, daily meditations, spending time under a beautiful shady tree, church, cooking, attending community events and turning to my tarot cards for motivation and inspiration.

 My Professional Journey

I have always been a curious person, wanting to talk and meet people from different paths of life. In my household growing up, there was no talk about feelings, and had to learn to manage on my own. Getting into this career finally gave a part of me permission to be okay with actually acknowledging feelings and normalized growing up with a “not so perfect” upbringing.

One of my first roles as a therapist was working with at-risk youth and unhoused families, which only validated my passion to faciliate children being understood by people they love the most, providing them with a safe place to express themselves, showing them they aren’t alone, and working with their parents to break generational trauma and cycles.

Over the past 6 years, I transitioned to working with adults in helping them understand themselves, repairing relationships and helping them attain a more secure attachment with themselves and others. Relationships have become my focus with every person I work with; I help them improve their sense of connection and safety in relationships.
